We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Highland Fuels Ltd team.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Commercial Sales Negotiator to join our dynamic sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and expanding fuel sales in Scotland. As part of a collaborative team based in Inverness, your focus will be on managing customer expectations, offering competitive fuel products, and ensuring smooth administrative support to drive sales growth.
About the role
- Sales Development: Proactively engage with existing and potential customers to expand fuel sales across Scotland. Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Customer Management: Manage customer expectations, ensuring they receive exceptional service and tailored fuel solutions. Address any concerns or queries efficiently.
- Product Offering: Stay informed about the fuel products and services offered in the market, ensuring that customers are presented with the best options to meet their needs.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead discussions and negotiations with customers to achieve sales targets while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to sales, including order processing, preparing quotations, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact fuel sales and customer expectations.
About You
Previous experience in a sales or commercial role, ideally within the fuel industry or the energy sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, managing a varied workload.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the fuel market and an understanding of customer needs within the industry is desirable.
- A collaborative approach with a team-oriented mindset.
Working Hours
40 hours a week, Monday - Friday 0800 Hours - 1700 Hours
Salary: £27,720 + realistic OTE £5,000
