Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golfers Tee Up Over £30,000 for Cancer Research UK

Local Four-Ball Golf Day a Smashing Success, Thanks to Sponsors and Participants!

Golfers on the Black Isle dug deep and swung into action at the recent charity golf day held at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club, raising an incredible £30,000 for Cancer Research UK. The annual event, held on Friday, May 10th, 2024, saw 21 teams compete in a friendly yet competitive four-ball format.

Cancer Research UK’s Black Isle Branch. “This fantastic sum will go a long way in supporting vital cancer research and bringing us closer to a cure. We’d like to extend a special thanks to our sponsors, all the individuals and local businesses who generously sponsored holes and participated with teams. It was a truly special day thanks to everyone involved.”

The event was blessed with perfect weather conditions, making for a thoroughly enjoyable day for all participants. In addition to the competition itself, several businesses, generously sponsored holes, further boosting the final total.
